BrightLocal Pricing in 2026: What You'll Actually Pay at 5, 10, and 20 Clients

The first price on BrightLocal's pricing page is for one location on the cheapest plan. Here's what you'll actually pay at 5, 10, and 20 client locations, checked against their pricing page in October 2026.

Key highlights

  • BrightLocal now starts at $41 a month for one location, not the $39 many sites still quote
  • Review management is only on Grow: $65 for one location, $131 for six to ten
  • Prices jump at bracket edges, so an 11th client adds $66 a month on Grow
  • Annual billing is about 25% cheaper, so it pays off once your client count is stable

BrightLocal's pricing page leads with a low starting price and a location selector. The first number you see is for one location on the cheapest plan. What you'll actually pay depends on two things: which plan you need, and how many client locations you manage.

These are the current numbers, checked against BrightLocal's own pricing page in early October 2026.

The quick version

  • Three plans: Track, Manage, and Grow
  • For one location: $41, $54, and $65 a month
  • For six to ten locations: $83, $109, and $131 a month
  • Annual billing is about 25% cheaper
  • 14-day free trial, no card needed
  • Citation building is extra, from $2 per citation

If you've seen $39, $49, and $59 quoted on other sites, those are older prices. A lot of comparison pages haven't caught up yet.

Price by plan and number of locations

Monthly billing, in US dollars:

LocationsTrackManageGrow
1$41$54$65
2 to 5$62$76$87
6 to 10$83$109$131
11 to 20$104$153$197
21 to 30$156$230$296
31 to 40$209$307$395
41 to 50$261$384$494
91 to 100$524$769$989

For very large accounts, BrightLocal quotes a price on request.

Notice that these are bracket prices, not per-location prices. Ten locations on Grow is $131 in total, not $65 times ten.

What each plan includes

Track is for measuring. Local rank tracking, a geo-grid view of rankings, citation tracking, Google Business Profile audits, and AI visibility tracking.

Manage adds doing. Everything in Track, plus listing sync across directories and a GBP post scheduler.

Grow adds reviews. Everything in Manage, plus review monitoring and responses across multiple sites, email and text review requests, and a widget for showing reviews on a website.

Which plan you actually need

Pick by what your clients pay you to do, not by price.

  • You report on rankings and audit profiles: Track is enough.
  • You also schedule posts and keep listings accurate: Manage.
  • You reply to reviews or run review requests: Grow. There's no review feature below it.

Most freelancers managing Google Business Profiles do some review work. If that's you, ignore the Track column. Your real starting price is the Grow one.

What it costs at your client count

On Grow, with monthly billing:

ClientsMonthly costCost per client
5$87$17.40
10$131$13.10
20$197$9.85

The cost per client falls as you grow, which is the good part of bracket pricing.

The part to watch is the edge of each bracket. Going from 10 clients to 11 moves you from $131 to $197, so that one client adds $66 a month. Going from 5 to 6 adds $44. It evens out as you fill the bracket, but it's worth knowing before you price a new client.

Monthly or annual

Paying annually saves about 25%. Grow for six to ten locations is $1,178 for the year, against $1,572 if you pay monthly.

That's a real saving if your client count is steady. If you're still adding or losing clients every couple of months, start monthly and switch once the number settles. Ask BrightLocal how bracket changes are handled mid-year before you commit.

What isn't included

  • Citation Builder: pay as you go, from $2 per citation. A cleanup project for a new client can run to a few dozen citations.
  • Managed SEO service: BrightLocal's done-for-you option is listed at $1,299 a month. That's a different product from the software plans.
  • API access: priced separately.

Is it worth it?

For what it does, the software is fairly priced. At 10 clients on Grow you're paying about $13 per client per month, which is small next to a typical GBP retainer.

The bigger cost is one the pricing page doesn't show: your hours. BrightLocal tracks, audits, and reports. Writing review replies, publishing posts, and putting together client updates is still your time, and that's usually where a freelancer's margin goes. We worked through that math in what to charge for GBP management.

How it compares

  • Semrush Local charges $30 or $60 per location with no brackets, billed annually. It's close to BrightLocal at one location and much more expensive at ten. Full comparison: BrightLocal vs Semrush Local.
  • Whitespark sells separate products instead of one plan. It can be cheaper if you only need rank tracking and citations. Full comparison: BrightLocal vs Whitespark.
